What is the difference between Layer 4 and Layer 7?

Layer 4 hits the transport layer with volumetric floods like UDP, TCP-SYN, and reflection amplifications. It measures raw bandwidth and packet handling. Layer 7 targets the application layer with HTTPS requests, JS challenges, and API calls. It measures how well web servers, WAFs, and rate limiters hold up. StresserNet runs both stacks on separate infrastructure, so neither steals capacity from the other.
